Hello friends! It’s been a while, and I apologize for that. To be quite honest, I just haven’t been feeling very inspired lately. I could have posted, but it wouldn’t have been my best work, and I don’t want to post something just for the sake of it. It’s about quality, not quantity – right? Anyway, I’m back now, and I’m here to talk about the Too Face White Peach Palette.

Between the Sephora Insider sale, and their Labour Day sale, I feel like a lot of people had the opportunity to pick up this palette. I’ve had my eye on it for a while, but I wasn’t invested in it enough to pay full price. When I saw that it went on sale, I took advantage of it!

Isn’t it gorgeous?

Too Faced White Peach Palette

If I’m being honest, the packaging might be part of the reason why I was drawn to this palette.

And here’s a look at the inside:

Too Faced White Peach Palette Inside

The Too Faced White Peach palette features a mix of shimmer shadows and matte. There’s also the Just Peachy palette, which is a similar colour scheme but features all matte shadows.

I’ve only used it a few times, but I’d say my favourite shadow is Glistening Peach. I love a good shimmer shadow, and this one is beautiful, and it applies nicely. I wanted to love Peach Ice, but it’s a little too chunky for me, and it’s a little bit harder to work with. The mattes blend out well, but be prepared for a lot of fallout and kickback. Sweet Fig is probably my favourite matte shade, and it makes a nice crease and transition colour.

The one thing that I really don’t like about this palette is how strongly it smells. Usually scented makeup doesn’t really get to me, but this one has a VERY STRONG smell. Not strong enough that it bugs me when it’s actually on my face, but strong enough to notice it while I’m applying the shadows. In the long run it’s just a minor detail, but if you’re very sensitive to smells then you might want to reconsider.

Overall, it’s a nice palette to add to my collection. I’m glad that I didn’t pay full price for it, because I don’t think it’s necessarily worth the $55 price tag.

I’m going to keep playing around with it a bit, and you can check out my makeup looks page to see what I’ve created!

Have you picked up this palette yet? What did you think of it?

Until next time,

Britt
