Hello friends! It’s that time of year again! Holiday makeup sets are starting to be released, and I’m here to talk about the latest and greatest.
Which is super early in my opinion, but I’m also trying to be the kind of person that’s done their shopping by the time most people start. We’ll see how that goes… Anyway, lets talk about all of the new holiday makeup that’s being released! Is your wallet crying yet?

After a quick browse on the Sephora website, here’s a few things that stand out to me!

1) Pretty much any of the Sephora Favourites kits:

The Superstars Kit – which includes 4 full size products and 11 deluxe sized ones for $96!

The Give Me More Lip Kit – which features 5 full sized products and 9 deluxe sized ones for $82 – I missed out on this one last year, and I still have all the regrets.

They also have some mini kits this year which make awesome presents, and you don’t have to spend a ton of money! There’s the Mystery Lip Kit, Mystery Cheek Kit, and Mystery Eyeliner Kit – and they’re only $19 each!

I’m a huge fan of any of the Sephora Favourites kits – I feel like it’s a great way to try out a variety of products without paying for every single item! And most of these kits are worth at least double what you pay for them!

2) Stila Glitter and Glow Highlighter and Eyeshadow Set

So I’ve never actually tried any of the Stila liquid eyeshadows, but they look absolutely stunning! This set comes with 4 eyeshadows and 2 highlighters, so there’s bound to be something for everyone. While $59 sounds a little high, the full sized eyeshadows are around $30 each. I also feel like this would be a great set to buy and split up into multiple gifts! (one for you, five for me kind of ratio)

3) Too Faced The Sweet Smell of Christmas Mini Liquid Lip Set

This cute little set features 4 Christmas inspired liquid lippies! The packaging is super cute, and I do really like to formula of the TF Liquid Lipsticks. Again, it’s another set that you can split up so each of your friends or family gets a lipstick! The shades are really pretty, and would work on a variety of skin tones!

4) Tarte Pineapple Of My Eye Collection

This set has a little bit of everything all in one place – It would be a great palette to take on vacation and on the go. I’m a fan of their shadow formula, and the colours in this palette are so pretty! Not only do you get eyeshadows, but there’s also blush, highlighter, and bronzer. Apparently for $77 you get $454 worth of product. This seems a little high to me, but it’s obvious you’re still getting a lot for your money with this.

5) Beautyblender Sweet Indulgence Set

I’m going to be honest here and say that I’ve never actually used a read beautyblender. (I actually just ordered one this week!) But I know a lot of people swear by them, and wouldn’t use anything else. Buying them individually can get real expensive, so it’s always good to get the value set! This set comes with four beautyblenders, and four of their mini cleansers for only $80! I know, “only” $80? This is actually a really good price when one beautyblender alone costs $20.

6) Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Volume 4

Again, this is another product that I’ve never used, but I’ve had my eye on it for a while. I even mentioned last year’s palette in last year’s holiday makeup post. The shades in this palette are so beautiful, I love how the powders look marbled! Based on reviews, this palette is good for someone who likes the look of effortless and more natural makeup. I feel like this would be good for those no-makeup makeup days! I probably won’t buy it just because of the price and I can’t justify it – but maybe one day I can!

7) Sol De Janeiro Bum Bum Carnival Extravaganza

I’ll admit, I was a little sceptical of the Bum Bum cream before I tried it. Then I fell in love with the smell! Usually I’m not one for sweet smelling creams, but this one is delicious! This value set comes with the cream, a hand cream, a shower gel, and a fragrance mist so you can smell like this scent from head to toes! The cream really does leave your skin feeling soft, and the smell actually lasts for a while on your skin.

8) Smashbox Holidaze Always On Liquid Lipstick Mini Set

Clearly I’m a fan of liquid lipstick sets, and the holidays are the best time to stock up! This set features six liquid lipsticks in nice and versatile shades. The formula is comfortable and long wearing – perfect for holiday parties! Like I said before, this would be a perfect set to split up for gifts!

There’s so many more releases out there, and I’m sure’s more holiday makeup to come! I’m excited to see what MAC is going to come out with because their holiday collection is usually gorgeous!

Is there anything that you’re especially excited for? Let me know!

Until next time,

Britt
